I have read all of this author's works thus far. I was interested because he and his wife had the courage to give up the day to day grind for a life most of us only dream about. His earlier writings were at the most average, however, this is proofing the Stephen King statement that to be a good writer you have to keep writing. In my opinion this book is a quantum leap from his earlier results. I enjoyed it immensely and finished in 1 and 1/2 days. He has crossed over to an author I can't wait to release his next novel. Great work and this author should be very proud of his accomplishments and his vast improvement in his abilities. I have never meet Ed Robinson and have no connection to him other than reading is books.Product details

If you like stories with boats in them. and a nice plot, pass the time and imagine yourself afloat in your own world AND being involved in adventures.. get the series... This has to be his best book yet, imroving with each fruit of his pen. Loved the book and well worth the read !

This, the sixth book in the Trawler Trash series, is a fantastic read. Ed Robinson is the real deal. He loves on his own boat with his wife and goes about his life according to his own rules and beliefs. I've met them both several times, most recently aboard Leap of Faith, herself. Their travels and adventures have been great fodder for his fiction. I certainly hope he keeps these stories coming.
Five stars! The author has jumped to near the top of my favorite author list along with Wayne Stinnett. In this 6th outing, Holly is back, the Miss Leap remains a large part of the narrative and the locations are described so realistically you know the author writes what he knows. To tell how much I liked this new book, I put aside Clive Cussler's new book at halfway to indulge myself in this new addition to the Breeze family. I have been a Cussler fan since his first novel and have never paused in reading one until now. Waiting patiently for #7.
As a land locked former boat bum, Ed Robinson has the ability to take me back to some of the best times of my life with every turn of the page. Ed's latest work Cool Breeze reminds this reader of John D MacDonald, a delightful mix of adventure and a deep understanding and care for the environmental ills facing Florida. Another great read from an author who this reader has come to thoroughly enjoy and admire.
I like reading serials and I like reading these. Meade Breeze is a character and so are his friends. The stories are based around his travels and adventures along the east coast and down into the Caribbean. He lives on a Trawler and goes on "missions" that he somehow gets involved in.
Since I'm older I can relate to some of the situations Breeze finds himself in. They can be read superficially or metaphorically.
Beautiful women, action, adventure, and quirky characters along with a quick witted author makes this series a must read for the avid reader and "wanna be" Caribbean Trawler captain.
Including Cool Breeze, I have now read the last three books in the Meade Breeze series. I have enjoyed all three, and I am looking forward to what comes next for Breeze. Meade Breeze reminds me of Travis McGee. Both live on a boat in Florida. Both live on the edge of society. Just like McGee, Breeze does a lot of thinking. He has regrets and nightmares. Like McGee, he laments the current condition of Florida specifically and the whole of society in general. Nowadays, Breeze tries to do the correct thing, but he still continues to get into and out of trouble. I hope he and his creator, Ed Robinson, are with us for many years to come. I have now ranked this series first on my not so long list of books where I eagerly await the next adventure.
